November 26,2009 (AMACU) - It was official, the 2009 GU Ultimate Frisbee Tournament opened starting of with the match up between The Red Dragons and The Happy Sh*t where the first proved that somebody’s prediction is dead wrong burning the latter with a 11-5 win. Warren and Josh lead the way for the dragons’ mighty start with 4 pts(all in the 1st half) and 4 pts(3 in the 2nd half). Dragons’ Team Captain Pau had his share, dishing 4 asts, mauling out 2 ints and a pt. From the very start the Dragons’ showed no sign of being slayed with a 6-2 halftime lead. the Happy Sh*t tried to find their groove in the 2nd half but each time they score the Red Dragons answers it double. Jasper showed the way for the sh*t with 3 ints, 2 asts and a pt. In the end, The Dragons are still immortal, well by now.

In the 2nd game, Enjoy Lang proved that they are really this year’s ultimate Dark Horse upsetting The Ultimate Stars with a 11-6 win. JC had monster game dishing out a tournament-high 7 asts and 9 ints including a pt. Team Captain Veek did much of the scoring with a tournament-high 6 pts for Enjoy Lang. Enjoy Lang took the game early boosting their way for a 6-1 halftime lead showing no sign of holding off the brake. The Ultimate Stars came back to the game early in the 2nd half fueling a 3-0 run with the entry of Jed but Enjoy Lang return to the game and got back to its groove leaded by Veek and JC to stop the run and lock the game. Ultimate Stars Team Captain Roel gave way 4 asts, 3 ints and a pt and Micro, 4pts, 2 ints for the lost.
