November 27,2009 (AMACU) - 2nd Day of the 2009 GU Ultimate Frisbee Tournament features a match up between two teams losing and two teams winning in their 1st outings. A fight for a win between the Ultimate Stars and Happy Sh*t starts the day were both teams losing their 1st games, the first to Enjoy Lang (11-6) and the latter to Red Dragons (11-5). Both teams are pumped up and ready, bodies falling, blood coming out, intensity to the maximum level, all in all, a total slug fest where in the end the game belonged to the Sh*ts topping The Stars 11-7. Both teams answering each score of the other , a seesaw battle from the start until The Sh*t got their momentum and blew away from the Stars. Patrick who everybody thought will not play returned after a long absence on the field and scored 5 pts, mauled off 4 ints and dished out 2 asts to lead the way for his team. Team captain of the Sh*t JJ bounced back with 4 pts, 5 asts and 2 ints. Jam scored 4 pts including 4 ints and Team Captain Roel dished out 4 asts with 2 ints and a pt for the losing team once more. Everybody was a little bit worried for what the game have turned out. Jam crashed to the Oak Tree while defending JJ, Jed falling to his feet while attempting to catch an end zone throw and Jas sustaining a wound from his elbow attempting for a block was one of those few concerns. Luckily, Everybody is fine and had a good game.

In the 2nd game, a battle between the top teams happened. It was… an “epic”, that’s all i can say, the greatest GU Ultimate Frisbee Tournament as of now. Enjoy Lang out to proved something and the Red Dragons on the other hand out to proved why they are the team to beat this year. It was a blew out game in the start that turned out to be a very tight game, hard breathing and heart pounding in the end where only a pt will determine which team will have the glory and which team will not. The Red Dragons got the glory upsetting Enjoy Lang for a come from behind 11-10 win. Enjoy Lang started out strong just in their first outing against the Ultimate Stars using their run-and-gun offense where they lead the half for 6-1 showing no sign of pulling the brake. The Red Dragons was out of sink but regrouped early in the 2nd half and fueled a 4-2 run to push the score 8-6 giving Enjoy Lang to call a timeout. It was a long stretch before the Dragons tied the game 8-8 giving Enjoy Lang to call another timeout, their last timeout. From there on, The Game was seesaw battle with each team answering each point of the other. There, the game reached the limit with both teams tied at 10 a piece, a turnover for Enjoy Lang sealed the deal for the Dragons. Warren who started out slow gave the Dragons a fitting ending, scoring 4 pts, mauling off 5 ints and dishing out 3 asts, Team Captain Pau focused his mind on running the team, dishing out 5 asts including 2 pts but all in all it was a balance attack for them. Veek lead Enjoy Lang with 3 pts, 6 asts and 3 ints on the lost.
