Please follow the following procedure
 
1. Click on “Register” link found on the top right section of our header

2. Fill up necessary fields and follow instructed procedures

3. - New accounts cannot publish posts immediately due to account restrictions
- To upgrade your account pls contact admin through:
• gukake contact form on the top navigation
• e-mail - kakeadmin@gu-kake.org

pls leave the following information to confirm ur Gamers Unlimited Membership

• Full Name
• Gu Name (name which gu people call you e.g. oak(ranier) , L, artista, M, ahas, jomong, papa jesus, yugi etc etc
• registered gu-kake account
• recognizable picture if posible (wag po yung “HU U?!?!?!?!”)

4. once your account has been verified by admin you can now use full features of gu-kake
 

Browser Compatibility

 

• kake recommends you use Firefox with nine tails! for gu-kake
• if firefox dont work for you, unlikely though.. you may want to try chrome
• kake works though with most browsers (ie 7,8, safari, opera etc) but let us warn you that kake is not tested with other browsers besides firefox
 

Break Line

 
• yep we are aware of the break line bug we read that this is a wordpress problem starting from version 2.5
•if you are having trouble using enter to create a break or even using the <br /> tag pls try to copy then paste this markup

Avatars

 
• gu-kake supports custom avatars by uploading through dashboard->your profile->user photo
• we recommend that you upload a 1:1 ratio for height and width not less than 80 px in size

Smileys

• for a full list of smileys you can use in gu-kake please visit this page

Calendar

 
• calendar can be found by clicking “calendar” on the header navigation
• Add any GU related events such as:
-birthdays
-gu gimiks (includes parties, cosplays, gamecons, toycons and close open shooting)
-school related events (foundation and stuff)
-and many more
• please help in updating the calendar regularly

Event Title:
- title of event please keep it as short as possible
Event Description:
- you can add a detailed information here about the event
Event Category:
- what type of event are adding up please dont forget to specify if not sure
what to use just use the general categort
Event Link:
- if you have and external page for the event information
Start Date:
- date of event; this is where on the calendar the event will show up
End Date:
- end time of the event; be sure to check if it has the correct end date for the
event to display properly
Time:
- time of the event; if the event is a whole day affair just leave it blank
Recurring Events
- this is for looping events choose between weekly monthly and yearly
for example a birthdat should have a value of 0 and yearly to loop the event
every year
 
 

Chat

 
• gukake chat runs on a java environment if you dont have one get it here
• java will promt a security signiture verification. click run to proceed

• gukake chat runs on a irc server hence irc commands are applicable
• if possible please register your nick by typing
/nickserv register yourpassword youremail
then copy paste the confirmation that will be sent on your mail
